Niagara River

From Encyc

The Niagara River is a short but powerful river that carries the water that flows from Lake Erie into Lake Ontario. The river crosses the Niagara Escarpment. And in the ten to fifteen thousand years since the last glaciation, it was worn down a deep gorge -- the Niagara Gorge.

The boundary between the Canadian Province of Ontario and New York State, runs down the middle of the river.
