Lucy Anderson

Lucy Anderson (nee Philpot) (Bath, 1797 - Londom, 1878) was Queen Victoria's piano teacher.

She was the first woman to play at a Philharmonic Society concert (in 1822). Her husband, George Anderson (1793-1876), was Master of the Queen's Musick, 1848-70.
