MyWikiBiz is an online encyclopedia-style directory with a focus on business listings. It incorporates semantic web architecture, which helps provide better-than-expected search engine results. Another key feature is that advertising revenues may be generated and kept by any of the site's authors of user-generated content.

It has a Google PageRank of 4/10, and it is ranked as about the 120,000th most visited website out of about 15,000,000 recorded by Alexa.com. As of March 2012, the site has attracted over 2.1 million unique visitors, and over 5,000 have registered as editors (although only 50 of them have executed more than 100 edits to the site).

The site was founded by Gregory Kohs.

MyWikiBiz recently celebrated its 2 millionth page view. From the site (WARNING: The Kayla Tausche directory page link leads to a page full of spam.):

Our 2,000,000th page view! Feb. 1, 2012 - MyWikiBiz has experienced its 2,000,000th page view since its launch as a wiki in 2008! The visitor was a Verizon customer using an iPad from Carrollton, Texas. They searched Google for "Kayla Tausche wiki" and followed the #5 search result returned -- a Directory page on MyWikiBiz about the CNBC reporter. (Note, Wikipedia has no page about Kayla Tausche, but MyWikiBiz does!)[1]

In recent years MyWikiBiz has been overrun with computer-generated spam, such that it is making the internet suck, making Wikipedia look good in comparison, and reducing the public's trust in independent small wikis.
