English: Daguerreotype of Charles Ellet, Jr.(1810–1862), a civil engineer and commander of a Union iron-clad battering ram fleet.

Source A daguerreotype made about 1846 and part of the "James River and Kanawha Company Directors and Employees" collection. The original image is owned by and published at Charles Ellet's profile at the Virginia Historical Society as early as 2006-07-16.[1]
